Not just a fried chicken restaurant! This has been on my bookmark for a while and I finally gave it a shot and everything was great. It may have fried chicken in the name but their specialty is actually various stir-fried and braised chickens! They do have a laziji (chili fried chicken) but I didn't try it this time, maybe next time. Do be warned all of their chicken dishes have bone, so if you're not a fan of bone then maybe order their other dishes. Our favorite was the Duck egg fried clear noodle, imagine chow fun and pad see ew made a deliciously flavorful and ultra chewy baby, super fun to eat. The number 1 stir fried chicken was super savory and saucy, perfect with added noodles, cauliflower, and bean curd, and a great pair with rice! Great service (even packed our leftovers for us), generous portions, ample parking, overall a great spot to hit up if you're in the area.

Family chose this place a few months back. Not gonna lie, I didn't look at the menu before hand and thought it was going to be a Korean fried chicken place haha. Anyways, this restaurant is definitely not that - it is so much better. We got the clear noods with duck egg and cauliflower with duck egg yolk. Both surprisingly good - everything was good actually. The server took our order as soon as everybody arrived - since we were a larger group, we had 2 water pitchers so that we could fill our water cups. The signature dish: clam stir fried chicken with bean curd skin. I think we got mild spice but I would have loved it more if it was spicier. Gotta go back to try the spicier version of this dish. We also got the green beans, mapo tofu, fried pork with sweet and sour sauce and yes, between the 8 of us, we finished everything haha. I would recommend this restaurant to just about anyone. Whether you like little spice or a lot of spice, this restaurant is sure to have something that will fit your taste buds!

Their name caught my eye as I have true cravings for chong qing style chicken. We stopped here to check out their menu. They are located in the HK2 District Plaza with plentiful parking, and their storefront is black so its very easy to locate (+1) The decor is really cute and clean. We were greeted upon entry and received friendly service (+1). Before placing our order, we informed the server of our son's peanut allergy. The server promptly assured us they don't use either (+1). I appreciate his welcoming demeanor and his understanding of the foods they serve. We ordered the house fried chicken as "fried chicken" is their namesake and the reason we stopped by. We opted for the whole vs the half chicken, a very risky commitment for a first visit & for take out I know. We were hungry and excited to try so why not? We received a FULL box of fried chopped bone-in chicken which smelled wonderful. We thought it would be crispy, but it seems this isn't the battered & fried type. Oh well. The chicken was very flavorful (+1) but having to deal with bones was not fun. The server told us they offer this with bone-in only. The restaurant opened a year or so ago and had to offer to-go only at the start of their business. They offer a variety of foods, so we will be back. Please give them a try if you're in the area.

I ordered the Duck Egg Noodles! I'm obsessed with glass noodles and I've never seen thicc glass noodles before, so I definitely wanted to give these a try! The noodles were super bouncy and chewy ~ just how I like it! The flavor was a bit too salty for my taste and just mostly tasted like soy sauce flavoring :(

I will be honest, I would normally not go to a place like this on my own, so I was glad that the person that I was going with really wanted to try it. Lots of parking in the HK2 plaza, even on a Friday night. We came before the dinner rush, so we were seated immediately and had our order taken. We ordered the Yard Fried Chicken (4lbs which was an insane amount of food for 2 hungry people and we had more than enough to take back home). The chicken was moist enough and came bone in, so be careful of sharp pieces! There was some slight numbing spiciness to it, but it was really subtle, so I didn't find it too spicy at all. Lots of chilis and other veggies included as well. This order came with diced pickled radish, chopped potato salad (not the western mayo one that we're accustomed to, but this was pretty good so it was consumed quite quickly), and a dry Chinese style biscuit (??) that you can dip into the sauce (not too entirely sure what this was or if I ate it correctly, but it was nice to get some extra carbs). Not bad !

This place/location used to be a dry pot place and it was good. So bummed they closed. This new place looked interesting so we decided to try it and it was very good. We ordered their smaller portion chicken dish medium spicy. The portion was huge and we may try spicier next time. Ordered fresh noodles with it and the whole order was more than enough for the two of us. egg yolk cauliflower was amazing! Would totally get that again.

This restaurant just opened recently, so we decided to give a try. Actually their food is pretty good. They don't have a big menu, they features Northern China Shan Dong dishes. Their Signature Yard fried chicken is pretty good ($27.99 with bone). Other dishes like cold cucumber, yard mixed vegetables and duck egg noodles are all delicious and special.

This place use to be a personal hot pot place but recently beside Chicken Expert dish. We found this place while buying Groceries next door. It really is a surprise find. It has a small menu which is good . You don't need a huge menu if you can make your dishes great. It is more of Northern dish than a Souther China dishes, so the dish used spice are very deferent. We preferred following and some items don't have names on the menu in English also I have to try to make one myself -Yard Fried Chicken 4LB -Fried Duck Egg Clear Flat Flour Noodle(No English Name) -House Sauces with Cucumber and Crispy Chinese donuts (No English Name) -House Cold Mix Vegetables Salad (No English Name) -2X handmade noodles((No English Name) -2X White Rices (No English Name) The chicken it self tasted great and light and it is strangely tasty after reheat! The the side dishes above are all pretty good and have it's own. Flavors. Fried Duck Egg Clear Flat Flour Noodle(No English Name) is good fried noodle with soft and sticky feel with mixed with flavorful egg. House Sauces with Cucumber and Crispy Chinese donuts (No English Name) this dish has flavor like some Taiwanese cucumber saunter but with crispy Chinese doubt gives an great texture combined with flavor. House Cold Mix Vegetables Salad (No English Name) his different ignorant chop up to a thin slices which requires good Chef skills. This cold mixture reminds me some of the Chines new year cold dishes that has the same sliced ingredients and flavor. All above items really with ordering. Even with just the plan rice and handmade noodles. Great find and will definitely make it a usual place.
